Interesting... Long-finned Neon Tetras
« on: December 12, 2009, 04:00:04 PM »
So, these aren't new all of a sudden, but I just stumbled upon the pictures. Depending on the price, I think I would be willing to give them a shot. They definitely would never be my favorite fish, considering how unnatural they are, but I also have no idea how the extended fins have affected their health (aside from what mass breeding has already done). If I get bored, I will probably do a little more research on them... like where they are available, if they are.

I kinda like'em. *puts on flame suit* hiya QF!

Ever notice in the Bible, whenever God needed to punish someone, make an example or needed a killing, he sent an angel? Ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? An existence spent praising your God, but always with 1 wing dipped in blood. Would you really want to see an angel?

Hey  . No idea if anyone might be interested, but I found a fish store in Oklahoma who occasionally has them available, or can probably order them. I am not so sure about the price though..

I just noticed how the red seems to "bleed" into the tail.

Almost went blind staring at some regular ones in my tank too see that coloration.

They're pretty cool! I like how the flowing tail makes them seem more elegant. I wonder if they're all as hyper as my neons. :hihi:
