I have just but 4 female and 2 male red cerry shrimp in my 20galon long planted tank. My concern is the use of flourish and other additives I use for my plants I use trace elements, flourish, potasium and nitrogen. I have had Rams horn snails in here for months and they are doing too well. Also there are gupppies in the tank. My concern is the copper part of trace. will it kill of the shrimp over time? they have been in the tank for two weeks now and are fun to watch just after the lights go off

As long as you do not overdose the trace - no harm will come to the RCS from the copper content, but guppies are a concern for the young.

Thanks I knew the guppies may eat the shrimp young but as long as a few survive I'm happy. I have a lot of najas grass and java moss for them and the guppy fry to shelter in.
