Okay my 55 has
2 Gold Gouramis,
1 Two Spot Gourami
4 platies
7 Red-eye tetras
4 Lemon Tetras
and
3 Pictus Cats.

It looks pretty busy since I've added the four lemon tetras.... I would really like 2-3 more of these.  But would that just be nuts?
I could get rid of the platies....I'm really more of a tetra fan anyhow....WIll the Pictus be able to eat the lemons when both are full size?  SO far no mysterious loses.

all memebers seem to be doing well...But the lemons are so pretty I want more....Could get rid of Blue Gourami too....

I think you have room for some more fish. The main question would be is the tank established and cycled? If it isn't you need to hold off adding more fish. If it is you can add some fish slowly. As far as the pictus cats eating the tetras, I would say if they can get their mouths around them and can catch them they might. The tetras should be pretty hard to catch though.

I'll agree with Morgrid...
Just keep an eye on the tetras during the night when theyre asleep, you might start losing some... though its not deffinite...
just keep an eye on them.
