Hi, everyone! I was on the old version of the board as Maddy, but I haven't been on in quite awhile.

I've been keeping fish for about thirty years now - my father bought an aquarium when I was young, but got bored with the whole fish thing after a year or so. I however, didn't. If it's freshwater and swims, I've probably had one at some time or other. At the moment, though, I'm down to one - a new betta who I thought was purple and white but turned out to be purple and gold.

I'm considering my options for a large tank again - what I can afford, what I have room for and what's not going to be too heavy for the floor.
BTW, Pagey was one of my two longest-lived bettas - named, of course, for Jimmy Page. He lived to the grand old age of six and a half.
