Guppie question

hey everyone quick question.
today i decided to buy a pair of guppies for a 5.5 gal tank i have that had only a cory cat in it.Well after about 3 hours after i get home the female died.so i called the pet store and they said they would replace it so the wife went by on her way home and got a new one well we just got back from town and now the second female has died also about 2-3 hours also after putting her in the tank the male is still alive and the cory cat seem fine .check the water and everything is good.any inside of the what happen to them?

Possibly PH shock. Going from fairly acidic water to highly basic water can do this. Next time try drip acclimating them.

thanks for the answer Morgrid.From what i was reading i think that is what it was little update the male didn't make it thru the night. well i i quess you live and learn

What, exactly, are the readings from your tests?

  quess i should have added that.That is what my tests say i also took a sample to the pet store i get my fish at and it came out the same
0,0,15ppm 7.0 ph

That sounds fine then.  Even your ph is neutral.  Odd that they are dying off like that.  Altho guppies are not very hardy these days.  Out of all my fish I have the largest die off with gups.

that is what i thought everything samed fine to me.also when i went back to the pet store i saw a few more dead in the tank which they were so i thik they were just a bad batch of them so i decided to same some feeder guppys that they had in the back in a over crowed tank i got 10.since they were 10/for 1.00.they were in rough shape in the tank but they are liking the 5 gallon tank they are in now.i have lost one but i figured if i have 5 that make that i did good hopefully one of the females will let their fry go i got 3 that are about to pop  mybe start a good colony of wild guppies hopefully

i got - or 6 guppies for my cusion and i put them in my tank with 1 blue eyed rice fish and 5 white clouds the tank has no filter no heater and no  light and i got 3 fry from the 1 female bout a month 2 months ago and i just got sum more about a day a go and none have died soo i dont no whats wrong
