please help! my poor betta's belly has become so swollen he looks like he's going to pop!
i assumed constipation, fasted for a couple days then tried the pea trick for a couple days. no improvement so i tried epsom salt bath. nothing. waited a couple days then did everything all over again. he has poopish kind of stuff coming out of him but nothing substantial. i don't know what's wrong with him or what to do anymore! i can't stand to see him like this although he doesn't act like he's suffering. should i keep trying to treat for constipation? could it be something else?

could be an internal parasite, you could pick up some meds at your lfs... make sure to dose accordingly, and make sure it covers a wide range of things
