you could do some loaches?
kuhlis are my favourite... but they prefer to be in groups of 4-6...
uhmm, try some half banded botias, they look like kuhlis but only get to be about 2 inches long... they also prefer groups, maybe pygmy cories? theyre smaller so you could have more of them, 6 is the minimum for them... just remember, the higher the stocking level, the larger/more frequent the water changes are going to be, so keep an eye on your water params.
