so, Im thinking:
under 10gal tank
HOB filter
brick red laterite or flourite substrate
a few accents of sand in the front
heavily planted with:
    java fern, java moss or taiwan moss, dwarf hygrophila, water wysteria, crypt wendtii, and dwarf vallisneria
small heater, lit by a desk lamp, and maybe 2 DPs at the most.... what do we think?

*edit* does it need a lid? I have nothing that will get into the tank, and I havnt really heard of DPs jumping... I wanted to try the clean look of a 'top-less' tank

How many do you think I could fit in there nicely?

also...dont tell anyone... this might get blown up evetualy to a 55 gallon DP tank Cheesy how many could I fit in the 5, and how many in the 55?

Under a 10, 2. A 10gal, 3. A 55.... 18 with a one male to 2 female ratio.

ooo, that means I could actualy have a pet store do the wholesale route and get the 18... thatd be cheaper than aquabid or franks.... ooo the possibilities... what about tank mates??
