Im a Fishaholic

Picked up 14 pygmy cory's last Saturday at a place called "That Fish Place/That Pet Place" in Lancaster Pa. They are wonderful little fish, also picked up 4 very small true siamese algae eaters and 1 female cherry shrimp.  As of today I have lost 1 sae and 2 of the pygmy's all because I did not pay attention to my intake on my AC110 filter.  All the ones that died were found against the intake of the filter unable to get away from the suction, last night I got smart and put an AC 70 sponge on the intake to cover all the suction holes and took off the extention tube and turned down the filtration on top.  As of now everyone is fine, they have been swimming and enjoying life every since I got them and I hate because of my ignorance that I lost these fish, but I'm glad I learned the lesson this soon before I lost all of them.  I will probably buy another dozen or so of the pygmy's and some more cherry shrimp the next time I go back, I have fallen in love watching these little guys swim, at the present time my sae's are only 1" or so and they swim right along with them in a school unless they are sucking at the glass or my rocks.

Nice fishes, I'm planning to get some of them for a new tank.
