I saw a killi at petsmart and I'm thinking about putting it in my 20 gallon high community tank with corys and a ram.  I dont remember the name so could you try to ID this fish, Kind of light colored with some really light yellow fins. it had an upturned mouth and swam near the middle-top.

It may have been a gold wonder, Aplocheilus lineatus. These are topwater fish where your others are more bottom. I think they will be fine with your fish but they can eat a pretty big fish given the chance.

that would be most likely.  never seen any other at any petsmart.  killies are typically way to expensive to raise and sell at the volume they would require.
