Has anyone ever purchased fish from this guy? Or know someone else who has? He has a lot of nice endler strains.

I know they have been in the hobby for years & I have read some of their feedback on Aquabid. It may sound a bit silly, but I was wondering how closely his stock resembles the fish in his photos, since offspring do not necessarily match the parents. Like you said, they have good names, so it isn't that I don't trust them or their feedback. And I am surprised I have not yet met anyone who bought from swampriveraquatics, considering he has 500+ auction feedback.

you might try asking at endlers r us.  i think the concentration of their slaes might be higher within that group.
