Do you know what you want to pursue for a career?  I read what you like to do for fun and it looks like a little of everything.

I am looking at going into something fishy. I would love to work at the aquarium or a Reef shop, I love being around aquariums. It makes me happy inside.
I have also looked at building or designing stuff, not exactly sure what though. I love building models and skate ramps in my free time.
Music would be cool, but I think it would put a lot of stress on family relationships and starting my own family at some point since you would be touring around the country and not really at home.
And of course theres the ski bum option, where you work as a lift operator just enough to pay for food and lodging, and then ski the rest of the time. LOL.

so pretty much I have no idea at this point. Cheesy

Ahhhh a Professional Ski Bum! Of course not something one would recommend. Not whole heartedly. Wouldn't make the parental units too happy. lol But you're still young & you have a lot of choices ahead of you. Try not to blindly rush into anything but at the same time, don't let life pass you by either.

You could consider ski patrol/emergency response and/or ski instructor...actually my ex-bf does both in the winter time on Mt Hood. Basically he spends his winters skiing around the mountain helping others and loving every minute of it.  In the spring/summer he builds decks and fences. *shrug*

^yep, I was looking at being a "mountain ambassador" next year. Pretty much you get a season pass, a nifty coat and you ski around and tell people where the best runs are for that day. For the most part you just ski around, because no one actually knows what you do. haha.

Ski patrol is voluntary here, so you wouldn't get any $$$. but you would get to ski free at any resort you went to, so thats a plus.

I'm late with this, sorry, but Congratulations jbmathwiz! Smiley

I was also one of those people in every possible music group at school, and doing a bunch of things besides.  Doing all that stuff you do, I wonder how on earth you find the time to care for marine aquariums! Smiley

Bichers are highly addictive. Prehistoric looking, full of attitude, what's not to love?
