Yay for heating pads! Shoveling the driveway yesterday was a horrible idea since I've been having lower back pain for months.

Yay for making this post from my new tablet!  I wanted something more portable for taking to work so I can work on stuff (classes, stuff for the professional organization I'm a member of, etc...) on my lunchbreak, as well as for taking to meetings, so I splurged and got myself a new toy!   It's so much fun!  ;D

What tablet did you get? My mom has been looking into getting one and has been bugging my dad daily.

I got an Asus Transformer.  It's a tablet that can be attached to a mobile docking station which has a keyboard and more battery life (sold separately.)  I actually had originally gotten a Transformer Prime (the newer model) but the new keyboard/docking station wasn't out yet, so I took it back and got the older model.

Yay for not having to file taxes?
I really need a job.
If you worked at all, it's in your best interest to file. You'll get back all the federal income tax that was taken out if you made such a small amount that you aren't required to file. File a 1040EZ, back when I was single, that form was so easy it was almost insulting. :hihi:
Yay for easy money!

Yay... um, you can write off the cost of your rescue puppy???  Wow.. I wish we could!  I don't think we can anyway... hhhhmmm ????

Yay for new to me vehicles.  Got a 2008 Ford Escape last week to replace my 2000 Explorer.  We traded in hubby's truck which isn't a bad thing since it was pretty beat up.  The escape isn't quite what we wanted, we wanted something a bit newer, a bit bigger and NOT 4 cylinder >:(   But it lowers our payment and gets me into something that uses a LOT less gas.  This way we can put the extra money towards some other bills and in 6 months or a year we'll trade it off on what we actually want.  We call this one Gutless Gertie, 4 cylinder is just useless.
ADOPT!!! Don't shop! Support your local rescue.
