Great pic, Gem.  Hey, did Tom and Katie Cruise name their child after your kitty cat?

I think they did! Name theives!  haha!

I got her name from the Disney movie Dinosaur.

I used to have another cat named for a Disney character. Her name was Sorabi - which was Simba's mom in The Lion King.

Gem you need more comments on your Meet the Mods...

My neighbors used to have a German Shephard named Simba- but I'm willing to guess that was a popular name for any pet when The Lion King came out.

You're probably right AB.  I fell in love with the name Sorabi and was determined to have a female cat and name her that.  It was a few years, but I did finally end up with a female. she was a drug-house rescue...long story....weird cat...but super lovable.

Female cats are far better than males. I've had a lot of cats over the years and males are mostly useless. They lie around and eat. I mean, they're almost kin to me, but I like the females better as they can actually hunt and not spray stuff.

Well, mostly, I have had females that spray odd as that sounds.

not odd actualy all the ones i've had were equal in their "marking" tendencies lol. one was because she didn't like her litter box getting to a certain point of dirtyness; another because it was territorial- and the male it was because... well he's a male and territorial lol..

i also discovered it also has alot to do with the quality of food they eat too. whenever we'd have to resort to grocery store food my first mentioned cat would mark more outside her box the usual.... and the male ended up with a near kidney infection.

i told hubby never again. i'd rather pay more for their food and endup with no vet bills then pay cheap food and end up with pets with bad health and the possibility of loosing them but this is for another thread lol

 wave

I like both male and female cats.  Females do seem to be weirder than males though.

I love dogs too, but I'm mainly a cat person.

I always end up with retarded and/or crazy cats though.   shrug

someone needs to tell that to Suri.  Roll Eyes

Budda is definitely more trained than Suri is.  But, to be fair, Suri is a bit mentally challenged.  (I'm not joking!)
