LOL, you are so lucky, your bettas just do it like rabbits! I think I'm really going to give up on that Steel BF SD of mine. I've put him with the same female over 6 times and all he does is beat her up. Roll Eyes I've seen them wrap once and then he started attacking her agian. He makes me want to just take him out a shake him around alittle Tongue

Anywho, I'm also trying to breed the opaque Pks, the boy has a big bubblenest. I can't really tell what's going on to much, I'm trying to spawn a few at once and I'm using medium sized rubbermaid containers.

LOL, naw, they don't breed like rabbits... I've just been lucky. UI've had my share of unsuccessful spawns. Like the Coper Black HM and Platinum Marble female... She butchered his fins.. I was very upset at her and felt the same way towards her as you do towards your Steel BF SD. I'd say try to find another female that is the color you're looking for, but is more aggressive than your current female.
Good luck with the opaque. I hope they spawn for you. Then they can be close to the same age as their cousins. Grin
I may end up spawning my Black and White marble PKs in a couple weeks instead of four. Mainly because I know when they were at Jennifer's they were fed pretty much as if they were being conditioned. So I can keep up with their usual feeding and they'll be fine. But then again I may decide against breeding them so soon. We'll see.

Partly for curiosity's sake, is it especially tricky to breed light females (for lack of v bars)?

Thanks.. Grin
I took the male out last night, he got some sort of white film on his eye and I did not want him to infect the fry.

I will certainly be spawning the pair again. I have three pairs that are on my list. Soon that will be four..
