lol.  I figured. Wink  It's hard to not get my hopes up about this week.  I'm looking them over, and these two all look pretty healthy to me.  It's harder to tell with teh pastel, though.  To make me more attached to them, I named them when my sister came down to my room Tongue  So the cambodian is Zianna (as dubbed by my sister), the pastel is Luna, and the "oceanid" is Amphitrite Wink  I suppose that makes her something of a counterpart to the gorgeous blue man across teh room o.o  How true to his name...

Echo, your females were wrapping??!! :O WoW! I guess they like to try different things, lol. Are you sure the other female wasn't a male? Maybe somebody was constipated or something, and they were trying to squeeze out the poo Grin Betta pepto bismal *dies*

I'm glad you got your females ichthys! Four females normally do better than three in a sorority, imo, my three sorority just had too much bullying with the biggest girl and the smallest, so I added a fourth girl and voila, instant aggression re-direction, and no more fighting! It might not be the case for your girls, I know there's probably a bunch of people here with just three in a sorority, so don't take my word for it, lol Grin

LOL, no I'm sure they were both females! I think my fish are just backwards, I all the time have bubblenest's in females' jars and sometimes the females even take their eggs and put up there! Silly girls, don't they know they have to have a male?!

That's just like my Sophie, guarding her eggs when I first bought her. Such a strange little girl! Grin

Wow, my female never has eggs, but she does make bubbles on her toy and then guards it.  It's really really cute!

We have a sick boy right now, and the sun was coming in our window and shining right on him.  I told my husband to get me something to block the sun, and he grabs his "Fish Alaska" magazine and puts it around the tank.  Curiosity started freaking out and flaring, something he's been too sick to do.  I looked and my husband had opened the magazine to the centerfold to an ENORMOUS spread photo of a creepy looking rockfish.  Curiosity, about the size of this photo's eye, was taking it on with attitude.  HAHAHAHAHA!  I turned the page so he wasn't so threatened.

Thats cause you need to give them certain live/frozen foods for them to get eggs. Smiley

Some females just egg up on their own. Every female I've ever had has egged up quickly and they're all super fat! The only one who doesn't is Tansy, but I'm not quite sure why!

Not always. Most females go through a cycle and egg up on their own. There are many reasons why they do, (seeing another male or female... good food, seeing their reflection, etc) not just live or frozen food.
