Silly frog... I have an ADF and I was changing and cleaning his home and I went to put him in a temp bowl and I had him down inside the rim and didn't the little sucker jump and land on the kitchen counter. I luckly caught him and put him back in the temp bowl and quickly saran wrapped the sucker inside. Man my poor heart, I was thinking what would I tell dd if anything happened to him.

found 2 GIANT tadpoles in the feeder goldfish tank today (shipment of them came in today).  Gotta be some type of Rana I'm guessing.  Leopard frog or something, but these suckers are huge, so bullfrog maybe?  I'll get pics soon, and one has back legs w/ front leg buds, so once he's a frog it'll make it easier too.  They are so big I put them in a 10gal.  Probably about 4-5 inches long (including tail).  I scooped them up with my hand so as not to net them....they feel like wet gummy bears.
sorry for the randomness, I'm pretty tired.

Ok, who's Terri?  Is this a frog post that I missed?

So...my dwarf frogs have officially been dwarfed by the ghosties in there.  These were the first ghosties I'd ever had, I only keep RCs, and geez!  I had no idea they got so big!  And they're shifty and fast.  I always target feed my frogs, even tho they're the only critters in the tank other than the three shrimp..so I squirt the food in and those ghosties make a beeline for it!  They're on it before the frogs even know the food hit the water!  My frogs are nice and plump, so I know they're eating, but it's so funny watching a ghost swim off with a whole blood worm in her little "shrimpy hands."

I sent him two leopard frogs (UPS) the day school started.  He named them Steve and Terri, accordingly.  The pair sat in my room for about a month before I shipped them off.  Steve makes silly noises.  Maybe Micah will remember to tell you all about his nice paludarium... *promptprompt*

Steve really likes music, no joke. Whenever I play The Dresden Dolls or watch The Little Mermaid he goes "UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURPT! UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURPT!"

And yes, I love The Little Mermaid.
