Oh Sandy - I'm so sorry.  I don't know what could be going on, but I hope it stops.  You say you had them for quite a while - maybe it's just age?
Anyway - Hugs.

It has to be something that has been in that tank, because the only fish that have died have been the ones that have been exposed to the water in THAT tank. My guess is the cats had something on their paws or got something in the water. I'll be bleaching the tank and putting it into storage.

4 girls, one platinum halfmoon male, one veiltail male, and one mustard gas male in the past month.  Sad
I only have 4 females left out of my 7 girl sorority (plus a girl that was being fattened up). I was going to breed all three of the males. This is really disappointing and I don't think I'm going to be buying any more Bettas for a while. I'll just put all my focus on my others and I'll put my girls into a 10 instead of the 20.

I'm so sorry to hear about all of your little bettas Sandypup. Sad

I don't think I ever posted but my last girl, Cherry passed away. She was a bright red vt. That was before the summer and I'm still bettaless. o.0

Q: Can you give me some information about hippo racing in Canada ? ( USA )
A:
A-fri-ca is the big triangle shaped continent south of Europe. Ca-na-da is that big country to your North...oh forget it. Sure, the hippo racing is every Tuesday night in Calgary. Come naked.

Lost my last 4 sorority girls. Space heater gave out before I could put them back in their tank. I was getting all my stuff around to set it up last night and I went to feed them and found them dead. This is really disheartening. Karen was my favorite girl.

Oh Geez, Sandy - I'm so sorry.  It's bad enough losing them anyway - but 4 at a time, without any option to "do something" first really sucks.

RIP copper delta-thing male, red asymmetrical plakat female, and red/green dragon ct male.
My room has been doing all sorts of weird temperature fluctuations and it has definitely taken a toll.  Undecided

Sorry to hear about all the RIP bettas Sad  So sad.

I lost the red girl in my community tank a week or so ago.  Dunno what happened, she's just disappeared.  Last time I saw her she looked fine and a day or two later I noticed she was missing.  She was pretty young too - maybe 6 months.  I think I need to give up on bettas in that tank cause for whatever reason they don't seem to last long.  I kinda think it may be an overeating issue because we all know they are piggys and in a community tank it's really hard to control how much they eat as they get food from the top, middle and bottom of the tank.
