Spiderman, my new office fishy, passed away very suddenly on Friday. Sad He was fine all week, had eaten his breakfast and was swimming around actively all morning. Then in the afternoon, a guy I work with was at my desk and we were looking at him and I commented that he looked kind of pale and letharigic. I watched him for about 5 minutes and he just died. Right there while I was watching him. I gave him a few minutes and kind of swished him around with a net, but he was gone. Sad I have no idea what happened. RIP spiderman. You were well loved for the couple of months we were together.

Thanks Wendy. I have no clue what could have happened. I was right on schedule with water changes and he seemed perfectly fine that morning. I guess these things just happen sometimes. Sad
I am going to be bringing in a new fishy on Monday though! Smiley a gorgeous red, white and blue crowntail. You may have already seen his pic, I bought him from Supersixone back in November. Smiley

Bob, my little emerald green beauty, died this morning. Had to put him down because of dropsy. Sad

Thanks, Nessa. So sorry to hear about your loss, flutterby.
Well I lost another one over the weekend. Sad Littlest, my smallest Imbellis passed away. On Saturday I noticed his cloud eye had come back so I put him in a hospital tank and started treating him with tetracycline. On Sunday he seemed about the same and Monday night he was gone. They say these things happen in threes, so I hope this will be the end of this horrible streak. Recently, I've lost the large male Imbellis, spiderman, and now Littlest. I have one Imbellis left. Sad I don't know if I want to put her in a smaller tank, or let her live in the ten gallon by herself. I'm very tempted to try something else in the ten gallon, but I'm not sure what yet. I may just let her live a life of luxury in there by herself. Or I may get some more Imbellis and try again with them. Not sure yet.
Well so long, Littlest. You were well loved and we'll miss you.

So sorry Nessa. Sad One of my resolutions is to stay on top of my fish care more. I try my best, but I think we all slip up some times, and I have been slacking a little more lately cause of the holidays I think, and now I'm paying the price. I feel so guilty. Sad So I resolve to take the best possible care of them I can. And myself. Smiley
