Another tank not so finished.  Again, tons of moneywort in there.  The plants are getting roots so they arn't arranged right in the pic.  This is a slightly older pic.

Now I have more plants in there and starting to arrange them.  Moneywort is in the back but in 2 spots it creeps closer to the middle/front.  Red temple was added more the the middle left.  In between the prodrusions of the moneywort, stags were added and look nice.  More assorted bulbs were added and are starting to grow big.

This tank is on a rod iron stand.  It used to be sumped to the upper tank above it, but i removed it for now.  Lights are from my old 15 gallon hood.  Basically 4X15watt lights incased in a rivited tin base with a plexi glass sheild.  Filtration is a whisper hang on filter and heated with a whisper heater.

I plan on adding some driftwood and a large rock or two.  Just want to find that perfect peice ya know.

Not much in fish.  Some khuli's, oto, and want glass catfish but now changing my mind.  Thinking about something more colorful... but i won't tell ya'll just yet.

oh, that popbottle with that pump, thats my version 2 co2 injectors.  I made version 3 ones which work the best I feel.  If I got my hands on some better (more expensive) materials, it would look like an underwater foutain.

Oh, the gravel is natural river pebble gravel.  It is on there pretty deep in most spots.  I want to get some latterite for the tank, just havent been back to get some more.  There might be some seachem plant tabs in there some where, but I don't think I could find them now.  There should be some in the next tank too, but i've forgoten.

Well, I've saved my best for last.  It isn't even finished yet.

I went for a red themed tank here.  I first wanted only red plants, but how boring.  Plants are still kinda new for the most part, but have filled out a little.

In the direct middle there is my favorite plant in the tank, the tiger lotus.  Kinda the wrong size now, but it is growing a little slower than the rest.

As for the kinds of plants... go to aquatic plant depot and just start looking around.  No real order either, just trying to get a good feel from the tank.

Ground cover hasn't been put in either.  When I get a load of it, I think it will dress it up real nice.

Same co2 injector as the 29B tank, but kidna hid behind the lava rock.  The drift wood was from the 5 gallon hex, it was swaped for a smaller, less tannin leaching peice.

Substrate is flourite and latterite to aceive a more redish look.   I think i should have used the laterite in the bottom tank, but I didn't think... duh!

Lighing is 4X20w watt flourescent lights.  One kinda likes to fall off now and then, but I have it taped back in there.  I'll get the stapler and fix it back up with some wire.

Ofcourse, fish!  Head/tail lights and glowlite tetras.  For the exact number and or ratio... Not sure.  They did start off a more clear color, but with the foods / aging they have colored up real nicely.  There goes the old ghostly community if anyone still remembers.

I plan on adding some ghost shrimp in there.  Siphoning is kinda hard so i figure a clean up crew is in order.

I use flourish iron and regular flourish in this tank.  I also have a bottle of aquarium tannins to give it a brown tint when I feel.  But they don't make it anymore so I'm saving it for that special occasions.

I plan on geting some hydroponic fertilizers to give it the real lush growth I want, more cheaply.

so hard to get any nitrates built up in this thing.  If i run that co2 injectors, them nitrates can drop considerably in one day.

Only drawback right now is that hood.  I have it wired so all the ballast are one one side.  So if you set something up on there, it warms up a little bit.  Like a pop or wetted eco-earth.  Mainly with that eco-earth.. I change it in the 10 gal terrarium next to it so instinctivly it is a great place to set it there.

both this tank and the bottom tank have been setup for no more than two months.  i use the same ferts for all my tanks.

This is my 10 gallon female betta tank-also home to a black mystery snail and some MTS's.

For plants I have anacharis, cabomba, moneywort, and the no longer a mystery hornwort. There's also some java moss that I'm trying to root to one of my rock caves. (Ignore the particles floating in the water-I was just messing around in there and it got stirred up.

The rocks in the front are "borrowed" from the landscaping outside our apartment.

Great tanks everyone.   Grin

Here's an update on my 6 that I'm a little reluctant to show since i'm still stumped on what to add for the midground since the javas I had there died off.   Undecided  The rotala in the pic is growing ok but I'm not getting the growth that i want from it due to the system 6 lighting and the plain gravel.  I'm thinking anubia nana as a last resort but any other ideas would be great.
