all above advice sounds good. your taking better care of him then he did lol

I'm not sure if his fins will grow back as they appear in the before.. but we can hope.. at least he survived

and now i must say.. holy cow!
i'm in my own happy little world. dont worry. they know me there.

Ouch... that's rough lovin from those girls.  Talk about abuse!!  Hang in there Cooper!

Keep us updated on how he's doing.  Wouldn't suggest putting him with those girls again... and I doubt he'd feel safe.

so I did a little betta surgery to cut off the ragged fins that are just strands....poor cooper, he's eating, which is a very good thing, but the more I insepect him, the more stuff I see that's bad, especially since I just noticed his pectoral fins stringy too...poor guy. he has trouble maneuvering around....

imagine trying to be mobile as just a stump. =(

Oh this poor fish....just keep treating him like you have been.  It's good that he's eating.  Keep a close eye on his water and keep it pristine, he's very vulnerable to infection at this point.  I'd also lower his water level a bit just to make it easier to get air.  Give him some time and hopefully he'll be back to normal.  He's nowhere near those girls right?  I mean, not even within viewing distance?  You'll want to help him feel as safe and secure as possible.  ~L

Poor baby! That is insane how much damage he took.

Was his tank near theres are was it divided? I don't really get how he got into the girls tank.

I hope he recovers quickly! Hopefully he learned his lesson not to mess with the ladies!
