Patriot is a SBD boy that I got at the auction, with gills that come out over the plate. Nobody wanted a crippled fish, so they gave him to me.
He is a blue butterfly SD/HM (cant flare up) with some pinkish red wash. He is my desk buddy (well, on a table next to my desk)
He's a spirited little guy, but doesnt like pics lol. So here is his home:

So about 2 or so months ago I decided to make the 10 gallon tank my Husband(yes I got married on Nov 8th 2008!!!!!) had found last summer by the garbage bin, after cleaning it up and buying everything else I needed, I got to work. After some plants going to that little plant place in the sky I finally am happy with my tank. So Here are some Videos and Photos of my tank.. I know I should have done it at night but I work nights and am usually tired so please don't take the blurriness against my lovely tank.

~Enjoy~

Oh and the fish that I have in there are all babies platies and mollies, as well as 3 ghost shrimp and 1 mystery snail.

It is looking very nice! With any plants that have rhizomes (anubias, java ferns, etc), be sure not to bury the rhizomes and they should do well. A good start once your plants flesh out a bit.

I love the glass hunk, I used to have one of those back when I had a FW tank. They look super tight. Nice tank. Cheesy

That's not glass- it's a piece of smokey quartz. In that tank, there is also a thin slab (making the cave top) of emeralds in matrix, & then there's a large slab of pick marble. The rock in the last tank is rose quartz. I use a lot of rocks & fossils to aquascape my tanks.

Thanks,
Marty
