Since this subject comes up so often, and there is confusion. I figured I'd post a good link on here to help all of us better choose our Water Conditioners/Water De-Chlorinators. Each one serves slightly different purposes. This is from a good site called The Tropical Tank. http://www.thetropicaltank.co.uk/rev-cond.htmFor further information on each product, please visit the brand name website.

Thanks so much! I ran across that site once, meant to bookmark it, and never did. Maybe mods could sticky this topic?

That was a very informative site, but the stuff that I have here, which is in a 16oz bottle that cost $20 is not on that list. Mind you, I am in Canada, so a lot of stuff is different, but I did get it at a pet shop...Best West Pet Foods. Thanx.

You'll also want to look at the dosing instructions. It takes twice as much stress coat than Prime to treat the same amount of water.

I don't I prefer Prime. I get large bottles that work out to be very cheap over the course of a year.

Cool site! I definetly agree with DNKDelts. I LOVE Stress Coat! I've been using it for years and it works really well! Sara
