Fish are friends, not food.

I'm Jenna, friends just call me Jen though, a 20 year old undergraduate English major by day.  By night I wash dishes in a dining hall to squeak by without too much help from my folks, who have enough on their plates as it is.  I've only been keeping fish since about September and currently have a single Betta- a red veil tail named Demetri.

Hi Jen, great to see you helping out your parents in pursuing your career, most kids now-a-days don’t seem to understand how much a little help from their kids mean to their parents. Hats of to you for keeping Demetri. Bettas can be good pet and react to you.

Thank for the welcome, my mom's real proud of my sister and I- first generation to go to college! and the job is a nice way to feel independent Cheesy

I really adore my Betta, my dad wants me to leave him home so he can take care of him (I guess he adores him too Tongue), but he's my buddy and I would miss him terribly.

I do scrollsaw and other woodworking. So I do it all from home so I have extra timeto play with fish too.  Grin

Ever thought about doing a tank background of drift/bog woods, Robert. Would be a great DIY project.
