At the risk of getting away from the topic of this thread I feel I must address the misconception of Sport Bikes.
Yes I ride a sport bike, I like to ride a high performance machine, one that can stop on a dime, accelerate to 180MPH and cut the corners.
I am a responsible rider and although I respect everything on two wheels there is evil on both sides, Sport bikes and the Harley crowd.
What ruins it for the responsible sport bike riders are these kids who do things at the wrong time and at the wrong place thus condemning all Sport riders as an irresponsible bunch.
What ruins it for the Harley crowd is the average Harley mentality for example "Get a real bike" referring that a sport bike is not a real bike when the reality to fact is that the sport bike is more bike than a Harley. Its faster, stops better, handles better, sounds better and has a hell...o of a lot more horsepower usually over double the horsepower of a Harley.
Anyway as far as I am concerned it is not what you ride as long as you ride, first and foremost I am a motorcyclist that happens to ride a sport bike I respect everything on two wheels.
